Description

Plans, organizes and directs marketing and key public relations activities and programs to extend and increase use of the Health System programs and facilities; works with senior management to implement successful marketing strategies; formulates approaches, policies and programs to promote understanding and utilization of the Health System; develops and maintains communication channels with the Health System's multiple publics; responsible for the oversight of Health System website; develops marketing and promotional plans.

Essential Duties

  • Controls and directs focus and scope of Riverside web site.
  • Directs staff and coordinates with vendors to keep site reflective of organization's goals and objectives.
  • Develops and implements annual marketing plan that supports the goal and objectives in the strategic plan.
  • Develops and reviews policies and procedures to support marketing functions.
  • Directs development and production of collateral materials insuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Directs preparation and release of publicity consistent with the organization's objectives.
  • Provides guidance and direction of marketing staff.
  • Provides quality control oversight for all materials produced by Riverside HealthCare destined for public consumption and internal audiences.
  • Provides, as needed, marketing support and assistance to departments and business units to meet established program goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for creation of advertising and associated communications that support the Riverside brand.
  • Serves as media contact. Serves as 'point person' with advertising agencies and department vendors.
  • Works with staff to develop and maintain positive media relations.

Requirements

Required Licensure/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
