THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO MANAGER

As a Studio Manager (SM), you live your power by delivering the world-class CorePower Yoga experience including leading the operations of a yoga studio, coaching and inspiring the CPY classroom experience, creating a premium sensory in-studio yoga experience (clean and safe) for the community, and training a team of world-class yoga instructors and mindful leaders.

Health and Safety Management in The Studio

  1. Lead, execute and train all current CPY Smart Health Protocol and CDC guidelines in studio.
  2. Take ownership in the functionality of your studio and act as a liaison between the Studio Support Center facilities and IT teams.
  3. Work with your Studio Coordinator to maintain an appropriate level of studio supplies.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience

  1. Be an ambassador of the CPY Core Values and inspire, train, and coach these values in others.
  2. Commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week primarily in studio.
  3. Teach a minimum of 6 aligned CPY5 classes per week.
  4. Teach CorePower Live classes as directed.
  5. Set the tone for the studio’s culture and reflect trust in our future.
  6. Support training and facilitation of CPY programming.

Leading the Studio Team

  1. Own all processes related to the day-to-day operations of the studio.
  2. Communicate all CorePower Yoga policies and initiatives for all staff members.
  3. Develop, recruit, hire and retain a Core Values driven studio team.
  4. Train and develop your Studio Coordinator(s).
  5. Own staffing for your studio’s class and SET schedule.
  6. Oversee operations of the SET including recruitment and training.

Grow the Business

  1. Take personal responsibility for revenue and cultural growth of your studio.
  2. Train and inspire your full team on membership retention and growth goals.
  3. Partner with your District Manager to set studio goals and collaborate on progress.
  4. Provide solution-oriented feedback to enhance the student experience.
  5. Expand CPY’s influence within your community.
  6. Own the retail business within your studio.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
  2. Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Completion of a relevant 200-hour teacher training or Yoga Sculpt program is required.
  4. Minimum of 1 year in customer service-oriented role required.
  5. Minimum of 1 year in operations or retail leadership experience preferred.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

THE FINE PRINT

  1. 5-6 days a week/40+ hours a week.
  2. Must be able to move around the studio space and lift up to 25 lbs.
  3. Must be able to step in to teach any class format with little to no notice.
