THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO COORDINATOR
As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world-class CorePower Yoga studio experience, including coordinating studio operations and upholding the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our Core Values, you will work alongside the Studio Manager to achieve company and studio-level goals. This SC role is a part-time, entry-level position that will allow you to learn the business and develop the skillset to operate a studio.
Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
- Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times.
- Support the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
- Commit to a flexible schedule of 18-29 hours per week in support of operations coordination and teaching (if certified).
- Serve as the studio-level point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present.
- Maintain appropriate studio supply inventory for students, including cleanliness inventory and locker room amenities.
- Engage with the studio community and foster relationships with students.
- Support teachers in their learning experience regarding the POS system and pre/post class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio
- Ensure the studio space meets CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality.
- Support communication around Smart Health Protocol to students.
- Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET) including cleaning and stocking amenities.
- Coordinate the Studio Experience Team (SET) including shift scheduling and training.
- Lead Orientation for new Studio Experience Team members.
Teaching Schedule
Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6 classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
- Excellent oral communication skills and professionalism are required.
- Experience in Customer Service required.
- Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred.
- Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
- Familiarity with studio systems such as HRIS and POS.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize under multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- College (BA/BS) preferred.
THE FINE PRINT
- Availability must match the needs of the business, including morning, evening, weekend, and holiday flexibility.
- Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice.
