This position is an individual contributor role where you will need to influence your teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives by using data and logic. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, PMs, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, constantly challenging and expanding your skill set. This role is hybrid - three days a week out of our Atlanta office.
What you'll do as a UX Researcher @Sage Network
- User interview processing: assist with synthesizing key responses and insights from user interviews, efficiently organize these responses using Figma and Notion, and help set up and manage affinity diagrams to analyze user feedback.
- Feedback integration: collaborate in finalizing UX research reports, adding and categorizing actionable feedback to Productboard, and ensuring the feedback is accessible and understood by relevant teams.
- User centricity: run different exercises internally where we listen to our customers, watch their sessions, and document their pain points; work closely with various squads to help process this data.
- Scheduling and conducting interviews; help in scheduling and organizing user panels, participate in interviews to gather critical insights and synthesize findings to enhance product development.
- Contextual inquiry: assist in planning and executing contextual inquiries, analyze and interpret contextual data to inform design and product strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development.
- Persona development: lead the initiative to develop and refine user personas for Developer panels and our Sage Network App panel members, utilizing research data to build comprehensive, accurate personas.
- Work closely with design and research counterparts, PMs, and engineering to foster an exceptional collaborative environment and deliver effective solutions.

- We’re seeking individuals who are skilled in UX research and passionate about creating delightful user experiences and thinking outside the box.
Key Responsibilities
- A genuine passion for curiosity and a great collaboration spirit.
- 3-5 years of experience in UX research.
- Expertise in qualitative analysis, persona development, and user-centered design.
- Proficient in tools like Notion, Productboard, Figma, and video analysis software.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
It's Also Awesome (But Not a Requirement!) For You to Have:
- Accounting or FinTech knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Prior finance experience and/or startup experience.
