About Role
Centr is seeking a Social Producer based in Los Angeles to help lead content production for paid and organic social media.
The ideal Social Producer candidate is passionate about creative strategy, social media, community development, and content creation. The Social Producer will be responsible for driving business results with social concepts for paid and organic media, execution of creative concepts, and managing the post-production process to stay on track with deadlines and ensure all deliverables meet the requirements of channel distribution.
This is a critical creative role that will drive impact across the social and user acquisition teams. The ideal candidate must have direct content creation experience on behalf of brands or agencies serving brand partners. They have a high taste level and proven track record of successful content performance.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the creative and social teams to conceptualize and execute innovative ideas for Centr’s paid and organic social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Bring fresh, creative ideas to content brainstorming sessions that support Centr’s acquisition and audience engagement objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on current platform trends and socialize best practices with the team.
- Produce, film and edit social-first, platform-specific content for organic and paid social media campaigns, including short-form videos and stills. Pending the shoot needs, you may be required to act as both on-set content capturer (video and photo) and director, ensuring all deliverables meet creative and platform-specific standards.
- Plan and coordinate weekly shoots—both in-house with talent and external with content creators—including sourcing talent, locations, and managing schedules.
- Oversee post-production, including video editing, motion graphics, and finalizing deliverables across platforms.
- Manage all production logistics and timelines to ensure efficient and timely execution.
- Collaborate with talent, Centr trainers, and influencers to produce authentic, compelling content.
- Partner with the Social Media Manager to ideate and produce assets for the weekly social calendar, as well as go-to-market campaigns and new brand initiatives.
- Partner with the User Acquisition team to ideate and produce assets based on the testing roadmap.
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiency across paid and organic social production and creative performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Expertise in social media filming and proficiency with iPhone editing tools and programs.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their unique features and what makes content successful on each.
- Familiarity with creator marketing and partnerships to expand brand reach.
- Strong video and photo editing skills using software such as Adobe Suite (Premiere, Photoshop) and Figma.
- Ability to conceptualize and execute compelling content ideas, stories, and scripts tailored to various platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience coordinating shoots, sourcing talent/locations, and managing production timelines.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable content strategies.
- Creative thinker with a passion for fitness, wellness, and compelling storytelling.
