Manager, Digital Merchandising & SEO.

The Manager of Digital Merchandising & SEO will play a critical role in optimizing the digital patient experience for one or more brands within The Aspen Group (TAG) portfolio of health services. This role is responsible for driving content, user journeys, and conversion strategies while implementing a best-in-class SEO practice across enterprise and local levels.

The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, CRM, Paid Media, Social, and Creative, to ensure alignment and integration of digital merchandising and SEO strategies. Success in this role requires a mix of strategic thinking, technical SEO expertise, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Director, Digital Merchandising and Brand/Service Line leaders to translate business objectives into actionable digital strategies. Manage the merchandising calendar, ensuring content updates are timely, relevant, and performance-driven. Partner with the Digital Performance team to track and analyze key metrics, identifying opportunities to improve site conversion and patient engagement. Build a best-in-class enterprise and local SEO practice, encompassing technical SEO, content optimization, and authority-building strategies. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to implement an SEO-first strategy, ensuring best practices are applied from design through launch across all digital properties. Perform ongoing keyword research and gap analysis to uncover optimization opportunities and guide content development. Analyze link profile reports, identify patterns of potential spammy links, and maintain updated disavow files. Monitor and report on traffic, performance, and ranking shifts, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders. Work closely with Paid Media, Social, and Creative teams to ensure SEO efforts align with broader digital strategies and content initiatives. Collaborate with CRM and Customer Analytics teams to inform and execute segmented merchandising strategies and test-and-learn initiatives. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in eCommerce, digital merchandising, and SEO to identify and implement new opportunities for growth. Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree is required. 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, digital marketing, or SEO, preferably in retail, service, or healthcare industries (agency of brand-side.) Strong understanding of enterprise and local SEO best practices, including technical SEO, keyword research, and link profile analysis. Analytical mindset with expertise in using web metrics and data to inform decisions and uncover optimization opportunities. Proven ability to align SEO strategies with broader digital marketing efforts, including Paid Media, Social, and Creative. Hands-on experience managing content marketing programs and optimizing for user engagement and conversion. Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in Google Analytics and familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush) preferred. Base Pay Range: $120,000-145,000with a 10% bonus (Actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualifications.)
