Senior AV Programmer.
This position codes, tests, debugs, documents, and installs new AV software and updates existing ones. This fast-paced position works directly with the Programming team, Project Managers, Engineers, and customers to identify opportunities to improve operating effectiveness and efficiency of software applications. Responsibilities Completes assigned software implementation tasks with high quality and on schedule Writes structured application/interface code from specifications conforming to established methodology and standards for AV systems such as AMX, Crestron, and Extron control systems Conducts unit tests of either new or modified AV applications Updates firmware on AV equipment Reads AV drawings Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides Proactively monitors the performance of assigned application software and makes approved changes to improve operating efficiency and effectiveness of assigned applications Proactively diagnoses and corrects applications and software problems and improve operating performance Documents new programs or changes to existing programs Performs preventive and routine maintenance Designs touch panel interfaces Assists engineers with system design Configures digital signal processors, A/V switchers, and other devices Customizes systems to our end-user's requirements Identifies software/hardware issues and troubleshoots them Provides support for existing systems Performs all other duties as assigned What sets AV3, Inc. apart? qualify
for this position, you must possess a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant discipline and at least 7 years of AV programming experience. Additional
qualifications
include: AMX Certified Programmer preferred Extron Authorized Programmer preferred Extron Control Specialist preferred Crestron Masters Certified Programmer preferred Ability to travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations as required, up to 25% of the time Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD issued Secret clearance
