About the role

We are seeking a highly-motivated and creative individual with a strong background in marketing and deep passion for cinema to join our global marketing team. The Senior Content Marketing Manager, Global will lead content marketing for films and programs premiering on the MUBI platform across multiple territories, particularly global/multi-territory SVOD premieres.

You will focus on:
  • Developing campaign positioning and executing strategic marketing campaigns supporting global and multi-territory platform releases
  • Collaborating with MUBI's Creative team on development of all related creative materials: key art, trailers, social cards, teasers, etc.
  • Aligning with MUBI's digital marketing team on execution of campaigns across key digital channels
  • Coordinating with local teams across key territories on translations, asset localisation and overseeing local activations supporting release campaigns
  • Developing posting strategy/timeline and coordinating across all of MUBI's local and global social accounts
  • Working closely with our Growth Marketing team to leverage CRM tools strengthening member engagement with our content
  • Liaising and overseeing filmmaker relations, presenting marketing plans and securing creative approvals; building strong effective relationships with filmmaker teams is essential for success in the role
  • Collaborating with our Communications team on all PR-related aspects of release campaigns and talent management
  • Developing pitch decks for potential acquisitions
  • Reporting on engagement and performance of content, keeping a close eye on the impact/effectiveness of marketing tactics employed


What you will bring:
  • A passion for quality cinema, from classics to new releases
  • Confidence as a leader and communicator, prepared to hit the ground running with owning campaigns end to end and strong writing skills
  • A strong grasp of film industry dynamics, particularly the streaming landscape
  • Capable project management skills - you can take ownership of working processes and find ways to improve them
  • High self-motivation - you thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinking with lots of ideas when it comes to connecting films with audiences
  • Impeccable attention to detail and highly organised
  • A team player attitude - you enjoy working collaboratively
  • A dedication to making every campaign the best it can be
  • 7-10 years experience in film/release marketing; ideally with streaming specific experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
  • BONUS: the ability to speak a second language would be excellent for localized work, but by no means a deal breaker for your application if you don't


The role is based in Manhattan, New York City, and requires at least 2 days in the office.
