We are looking for a highly motivated Workplace Graphic Designer with strong technical skills from design studio experience, a good eye for typography, and background working on environmental graphics, signage, and wayfinding. This person should have a passion for design, a flexible attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. The Workplace Graphic Designer will scope, design, and coordinate the production, fabrication, and installation of graphics at Fremont Factory and multiple manufacturing locations. Responsibilities Design graphics for office and manufacturing environments such as murals and illuminated signs Assess in field, project plan, and produce wayfinding graphics for office and manufacturing facilities Support special events and provide banners, flyers, or logos Develop and produce safety graphics such as evacuation maps, tactile signs and notifications Develop graphic standards and per project style and content Coordinate with internal and external fabrications and installers Work within Tesla Branding guidelines Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design & Environmental Design or equivalent background with a minimum of 5 years' experience in experiential graphic or wayfinding design Proven experience in multiple phases of the design process, including concept design, design development and final artwork Strong organizational and time management skills to lead multiple projects from start to finish Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt and determination to deliver Experience with large facility signage experience Excellent typography skills High level of fluency with Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Aetna PPO and HSA plans > 2 medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Account) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High Deductible Aetna medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $68,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
