We’re looking for an exceptional part time freelance, contract mid to senior level 2D graphics designer with experience working on brand communications graphics within the physical brick and mortar spaces, collateral, signage, digital and identity for clientele preferably in restaurant and hospitality first followed by retail.
About us, a 5 year old strategy, branding and retail design agency creating rebrand and prototypical experiences and brand assets for start ups (emerging brands) to large companies, across retail, F&B, hospitality and specialty services.
About you, likes working contractually on a “project-by-project” basis with some flexibility in hours, is a great problem solver through design and knows how to develop and deliver production files for retail spaces in conjunction with the environmental design team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in creative brief visual asset development and upfront strategic processes
- Conceptualize and execute the creative design strategy into store design graphics, typography and signage (wayfinding etc.), identity, packaging or print required assets and digital and carry through to refinements and production of final assets
- Will assist in developing and placement of content into presentation decks to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design
- 5+ years' of creative design experience
- Must have experience using design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD Tools
- Microsoft Office proficient (powerpoint)
- Environmental Design 2D graphics for restaurants, retail or hospitality brands
- Strong typography skills
- Knowledge of sketch up and Canva is a plus
This position is mostly remote and candidates must reside in the US, but may be required to infrequently travel for in person WIPS and Client Presentations if needed. Also while freelance to contract to start, may be able to transition into part or full-time opportunity
