The AHS Performance Marketing Team is seeking a talented, customer-obsessed and tenured people manager, to own end to end planning, strategy and execution of AHS Engagement Marketing for all Health Programs and Services businesses (i.e. Amazon One Medical, One Medical Pay Per Visit, Amazon Pharmacy, Health Conditions Programs and future business verticals). In this role you will be managing a team of 3+ senior product/functional/general marketing managers.
In this role you will be the single threaded leader for planning, launching and expanding engagement Marketing for different AHS businesses. This includes (but is not limited too) identifying the foundational product and marketing requirements to grow engagement, identifying who is your customers for the different product/services offered, developing customer funnel journeys and metrics (first to nth purchase, winning back attrited customers, driving deeper value from repeat customers etc), experimenting to build efficient customer messaging and creative direction, working closely with brand and XCM o develop value proposition, owning channel strategies (owned & operated, direct mail, reviews, content etc), building and reporting forecast, and then lead execution with various channel leads.
You will hold a high bar for measurement of marketing activities and will define success metrics, measurement methods and reporting processes for your efforts.
The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced in building and growing customer engagement, has experience with Owned and Operated channels (such as Email, Onsite, Direct Marketing to name a few), is well versed on developing and measuring downstream impact for both new and tenured businesses. In addition, you work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, influence partner teams to align on near and long term strategy and have experience working with BI/DE and Tech teams to develop efficient strategies. You are expected to be an experienced Amazon doc writer and x'BR presenter and someone who is willing to get their hands dirty, participate to operate as an IC to support their directs while planning and executing
This position prefers candidates with managerial experience but is open to interviewing strong ICs that have significant experience hiring/developing candidates through mentorship.
This is a highly visible position and you will be engaging with Directors/VPs and Sr. Managers across AHS.

Key job responsibilities
• Own AHS Owned and Operated (Onsite, Outbound, Direct Mail, In-Office, Ads) Marketing Vision, Strategy and Execution to drive business goals
• Build foundational marketing tech and product requirements necessary to deliver from 0 to 1 in year 1 and build further to scale from 1 to 100.
• Build and own content marketing plans/calendar for each channel and oversee execution
• Develop a customer backward and insights driven approach that informs the marketing budget for the paid channels (direct mail/in-office) and work with finance and BI/DE to build an attribution model for such channels
• Build mechanisms that allows this team to learn from an experimentation mind-set and educates leadership about tradeoffs/big bet areas
• Work closely with Creative and Design partners to develop and deliver the engagement charter
• Represent AHS Performance Marketing in key business reviews including operating planning reviews and quarterly and monthly business reviews
• Develop, report, and continually improve email channel performance metrics
• Hire/Coach/Develop the current team of external hires
• Build and Lead OP plans and 3YP vision docs
A day in the life
You will build and develop the email marketing for AHS. This will include working closely with marketers, product, design, tech and BI teams across AHS to grow adoption and engagement for OneMedical, Amazon Clinic, and Amazon Pharmacy. This includes developing learnings that helps understand customer behavior and what most engages our customers and reflect this in your marketing strategy and tactics. You will engage with senior leadership to share your ideas and how we can build the next generation of marketing for AHS. You will develop a robust experimentation plan and create mechanisms to learn and grow quickly.
About the team
AHS Performance Marketing owns driving new customers to all Amazon Health businesses including OneMedical, Amazon Clinic, and Amazon Pharmacy. We look to automate optimization for each channel and are constantly looking for scale. We are heavily data driven and Customer Obsessed and are excited to partner with Data Engineering leaders to unlock customer behavioral signals to best serve our customers. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
