Amalgamated Banks seeks an enthusiastic Marketing Manager t o support the Marketing Department. This person will be r esponsible for developing strategies, engaging content and effective sales support materials, and effective audience segmentation for multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create and implement innovative integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels and programs, including new product launches; digital marketing campaigns; prospect and client retention communications.

  • Develop and implement content and collateral that builds brand awareness and optimizes growth strategies.

  • Conduct audience and market research to identify target audiences and messaging.

  • Partner with analytics team to develop test and learn campaigns for high opportunity segments.

  • Conduct ongoing measurement of campaign performance with actionable recommendations for optimizing future projects.

  • Develop deep understanding of company brand voice and tone.

  • Manage campaign calendar to ensure synchronicity across all channels.

  • Support brand initiatives that solidify Amalgamated as a leader in the impact banking space.

  • Work with internal and external creative teams to develop innovative creative.

  • Work with vendors to manage campaign requirements, including creative briefs, project plans and budget.

  • Provide general marketing support and assist with other marketing functions and day-to-day requests as needed.

  • Perform other duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5-7 years of related experience in integrated marketing, campaign management, brand marketing or related field

  • Creative thinker with proven experience of successfully managing integrated marketing campaigns across channels

  • Ability to utilize multi-channel marketing to meet marketing and company-wide objectives

  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to manage and track campaign KPIs and SEO

  • Experience with CRM/email platforms; Salesforce MarketingCloud preferred

  • In-depth understanding of marketing trends and digital platforms

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously and with flexibility

  • Vendor management experience

  • Excellent writer with strong verbal and presentation skills

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a team to drive projects and deliverables

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs a plus (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $100,000.00 – $120,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Work Model

Effective February 18, 2025, employees in office-based positions will be working a Hybrid work schedule consisting of three days or more, on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, the contact center, branch service roles, and general services where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely.
