The State of Wisconsin DOA-DET is looking for 1 .NET Web Developer II position Top Skills: • Candidate must have at least 6 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, etc. • Strong proficiency in front-end development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, or similar frameworks. (6+ years) • Experience in designing and developing desktop user applications in an Agile environment. (6+ years) • Demonstrated experience with: APIs such as SOAP and REST, Stored Procedures, and batch processing/queues. (6+ years) Nice to Have: • ComponentOne Win/Web Forms Controls • Experience with modernizing legacy applications, migrating interfaces, and working with legacy codebases • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SecureDevOps practices. Interview Process: 1 round via Teams, with camera on, more rounds will be scheduled if necessary. Duration of Contract: Until 6/30/2025 with extensions possible. Onsite or Remote? Candidates MUST be a CURRENT WI resident. NO RELOCATION ALLOWED. 100% remote within the State of Wisconsin. Project details: This position is responsible for participating in the refactoring of the PROTECT case management system to ensure that it is cloud ready as part of the 2 year modernization effort. This position serves as a member of the core team that includes members of the existing DAIT team and IT contractors. The modernization plan involves moving much of the processing from the client to the back end and middleware, and keeping a thin client application. We are modernizing in place with the new code being rolled out as it is refactored by feature/segment.
