Tyto Athene is searching for a reliable and organized

Cable Technician

with Audio-Visual Technical experience to support a law enforcement customer in the Springfield, VA area.

Responsibilities: Willingness to learn new skills and technologies to stay current with changing technologies Be able to demonstrate experience in following schematics for installation of VTC systems. Be able to demonstrate ability in reading and interpreting system installation drawings and design packages, and applying that knowledge to the cabling installation, and promoting a safe work environment and implementing safe work practices. Be proficient in the proper handling, installation, of LC, MTRJ and SC connector termination, and testing of fiber-optic and copper cabling systems Be proficient in the installation of various types of cable tray, PDS, and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit up to four (4) inches. Be capable of leading and instructing a team of installation technicians and properly documenting any red-line changes to drawing packages. Possess effective communication skills for coordinating installation work with Government personnel and their customers. Understand and interpret installation drawings and design packages, and applying that knowledge to the cabling installation, and promoting a safe work environment and implementing safe work practices.

Required: Ability to lift up too 100-inch Monitors and install video walls. Demonstrate 3 years of experience with Crestron systems and or a Crestron certification required. Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the installation of VTC systems Telecom Experience is desired but not required. Exhibits Lean Agile leadership. Strong oral and written communication

Clearance:

Must have a fully adjudicated Top Secret with the SCI eligibility.
