We are looking for a creatively focused Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist to join our Digital Strategy Team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement responsive and visually engaging communications templates, focusing on optimizing the customer experience through Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Working closely with our team, you will align priorities, understand business needs, and execute impactful digital communication strategies across various channels.
Responsibilities:
Email Template Design and Development: Design and develop responsive, visually appealing email templates using HTML, CSS, and AMP Script within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Litmus. Optimize email templates for various email service providers (ESPs), ensuring compatibility and responsive design across multiple devices and email clients. Work with the digital team to integrate dynamic content, personalization, and branding elements into email templates. Automation and Campaign Management: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop dynamic content blocks for personalized messaging based on customer segmentation and communication goals. Implement advanced personalization strategies using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and AMP Script to enhance user engagement. Utilize SQL for audience segmentation and ensure emails are dynamically tailored based on customer data. A/B Testing and Optimization: Conduct A/B testing of email templates, subject lines, creative elements, and call-to-action buttons to maximize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. Analyze results from A/B tests and suggest improvements to email templates and content based on performance data. Use Einstein or other AI tools to optimize the timing, content, and targeting of email campaigns. Compliance and Analysis Ensure compliance with digital communication regulations, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA. Support and monitor performance dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to email campaigns. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Documentation and Training: Document processes, templates, and best practices for email development and marketing automation. Provide training and guidance to other team members on email template usage and customization within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field is preferred. Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS to create responsive, high-quality email templates. Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including administration, automation, and creative management. Knowledge of AMPscript and how to use it for personalizing email content and messages. Familiarity using both Litmus and Salesforce Einstein for email optimization. Working knowledge using SQL and data manipulation for segmentation and reporting. Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including A/B testing, personalization, optimization, and accessibility. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and attention to detail. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is a plus!
