.NET Architect - Falls Church, VA (Travel as needed for Client visits) Required Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 10 years in the .NET ecosystem. Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-quality applications. Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale enterprise solutions. Strong development background, with expertise in C#, ASP.NET, ReactJS and AWS with Architecture. Frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Exposure to Microservices architecture. Willing to travel as needed (for Client visits).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modern front-end technologies. Certifications in Microsoft Azure or other relevant technologies. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, and related technologies. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and design patterns. Hands-on experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and Entity Framework. Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, etc.). Strong experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks. Extensive knowledge of architectural patterns such as microservices, MVC, and MVVM. Solid understanding of security principles, performance optimization, and scalable system design.
