The Group Marketing Manager I (GMM I) will be responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for the Core portfolio (PTA, atherectomy, vascular access, guidewires, IVUS) targeting the ~$2.7B worldwide market. Additionally, this individual will also lead BSC’s efforts in defining go-to market strategies for customers operating Outside the Hospital (OTH), in either the Office-Based Lab (OBL) or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) sites of service. Key activities for the GMM I include contributing to setting strategic direction for the global business, meeting revenue & profitability targets globally, building a high-performance marketing team and working cross-functionally to integrate marketing strategies with R&D, operations, clinical, med affairs, reimbursement and sales. Your responsibilities will include: Lead team of marketing product managers to achieve excellent performance in downstream marketing activities and product management. Develop and execute multi-year, integrated commercial plans for the Core portfolio, ensuring alignment with franchise and PI Vascular objectives, and the Strategic Plan. Drive execution of commercial plan to obtain identified franchise revenue, profitability, and budget objectives. Oversee the team’s work establishing positioning, messaging, and channel tactics for the Core and NEXTLAB OTH solutions to build the brand. Partner with global marketing leaders to ensure consistency across geographies, and with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment across key communication and customer engagement channels. Partner closely with OTH sales leadership to define and execute commercial strategy targeting the $1B OTH market segment. Key workstreams include customer targeting, pricing/portfolio strategy and value-add solution bundles. Coach teams to develop simple, differentiated, concise messages and to create innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs, and tools to create value and drive preference. Establish in-depth knowledge of peripheral vascular business environment; provide insights in the formulation of the US Annual Operating Plan (AOP) market and revenue forecasting. Identify and communicate competitive threats and opportunities for the franchise and lead competitive action / response plans. Spend time in the field to gain market and clinical insights, and build relationships with key physicians to drive education, market adoption and innovation of BSC products. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering, Science, Healthcare/Biomedical), advanced degree preferred. Previous management/team leadership experience in a relevant function or business. 5+ years of medical device marketing experience. Experience planning and managing product launches. Track record of success leading cross-functionally and with global partners to develop plans, strategies, and tools to maximize sales potential. Demonstrated experience developing and giving presentations to internal and external customers including sales teams, physicians, cardiovascular service line administrators, and executives. Travel – approximately 20-25%. Preferred qualifications: Masters/MBA preferred. An individual that is highly motivated with an action-oriented mindset.
