As a Senior Design Architect, you are a highly experienced professional with an extensive background in translating design concepts into final solutions across a variety of project types. Partnering with Project Managers and Project Architects, you ensure that design intent aligns with project budgets and schedules. You will lead architectural teams, cultivate innovation, drive results, and mentor others, demonstrating interpersonal and organizational savvy to deliver exceptional client-focused design outcomes.
Deliver Results
Lead all phases of the design process, including predesign, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Oversee the integration of design intent into documentation, ensuring alignment with Performance Based Design principles. Develop design strategies and coordinate documentation with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and municipal authorities. Guide teams in producing high-quality documentation, including drawings, specifications, and 3D renderings, using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software. Conduct field observations to address unforeseen conditions and ensure adherence to design intent during construction. Mentor and direct junior staff, providing feedback on accuracy, completeness, and quality of their work. Collaborate with Pre-Construction Estimators to make informed decisions on construction costs during the design process. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture. Registered Architect (RA). 10 years of architectural design experience, including leadership roles. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and other design tools; experience in producing construction documents. Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of building codes, sustainability principles, and integrated design processes. Proven ability to lead design charrettes, develop client presentations, and manage complex project coordination. Experience mentoring architectural teams and fostering a collaborative, professional working environment.
