Who we are looking for
Purpose Our organization is embarking on an exciting journey to establish and execute an omnichannel strategy, aimed at enhancing our reach, engagement, and customer experience across multiple platforms. We are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to lead the creative efforts in developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns for our hospital products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid background in graphic design, branding, digital marketing, and marketing communications. The Marketing Communications Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all creative content aligns with the company's brand and business objectives, thereby driving our omnichannel strategy forward.
Main Responsibilities
Creative Leadership and Management:
Lead the development of all brand marketing materials:
Manage external asset development partners
Leverage/organize internal resources for asset/content development
Own Promotional Review Board (PRB) approval workflows for marketing
Ensure asset development meets timelines and budgets outlined by brand leads
Define and manage CARE branding footprints (including brand style guides, functional templates, and core-claims/stock/asset libraries).
Guide the development of internal creative capabilities to meet the evolving demands of each brand.
Manage the budget for outsourced work and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI on creative projects.
Creative Strategy:
Partner with brand and digital leads to define appropriate channels/creative approaches for each campaign brief that satisfy the business goals/requirements.
Develop and implement creative materials outlines in CARE campaign briefs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop brand messages and content to align with key personas and customer journey touchpoints.
Ensure all creative content adheres to regulatory guidelines and industry standards by PRB and knowledge of Chiesi guidelines
Revising content for/upon A/B testing
Identifying gaps in content and recommending new message development
Ensure a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all marketing materials. Edit content to ensure voice, grammar, and style are on point
Remain updated on emerging content development and technology trends and bring implementation possibilities to the Marketing Execution Lead.
Work closely with the product development, sales, and regulatory teams to understand each CARE products' features, benefits, differentiators, and market landscape.
Project Management and Collaboration:
Manage multiple simultaneous projects and ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
Develop and deploy a transparent, agile project management process.
Partner with brand leads to establish content calendars for each brand and across each major channel.
Present creative concepts and copy to senior product managers and stakeholders
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and creativity
Experience Required
4+ years of experience in a creative digital role in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Agency experience in Project management and/or copy/edit is a plus.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (and other design software) to be able to create/edit/version a wide variety of creative marketing assets.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects across digital channels, including websites, CRM, programmatic display, POC, CPC, and social media
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of FDA regulations and pharmaceutical marketing guidelines.
Certification by AMA in Content Marketing a plus
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
Advanced writing and editing skills are a plus
Knowledge of current online tools and marketing trends, including SEO
Advanced computer skills
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Creative flair and attention to detail. Past Project Management experience is a plus
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
Education Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Marketing, or a related field.
