Job Description
Position Overview: The Head of Growth and Brand Strategy will drive the strategic direction and execution of Storyful's growth initiatives, with a focus on acquiring and retaining customers for Storyful within the media, broadcast, publishing, and marketing / communications sectors. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics in these sectors, customer behavior, and brand positioning. You will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders to align growth strategies with business objectives, leading efforts to expand Storyful's footprint in these industries, including supporting enterprise sales teams to drive larger deals and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy Development: Develop and execute revenue growth strategies specifically targeting B2B clients in the media, broadcast, publishing, and marketing/communications sectors. Identify innovative market penetration strategies to expand our presence within these industries. Brand Strategy: Lead brand and communications strategies that elevate Storyful's reputation among marketing, communications, and media professionals. Drive initiatives that position Storyful as a trusted leader in the news and intelligence spaces. Client Acquisition & Retention: Oversee and optimize client acquisition strategies across all channels. Collaborate with commercial leads to optimize the customer lifecycle from prospecting to retention and expansion. Supporting Enterprise Sales: Collaborate with the sales teams to support large, complex sales cycles. Provide strategic insights and resources that enable sales teams to win enterprise-level deals, focusing on growing larger and more strategic accounts in the media, publishing, and marketing sectors. Data Analysis: Leverage data to adjust and refine growth strategies. Monitor and report on performance across B2B channels, optimizing campaigns for maximum impact. Requirements:
10+ years of demonstrated experience in in B2B marketing developing and executing growth strategy, with a focus on targeting media, broadcast, publishing, and marketing/communications industries. Proven success in leading brand strategy initiatives that enhance customer engagement and brand awareness across multiple channels. Strong experience in client acquisition, lifecycle optimization, and sustainable revenue growth through digital marketing, partnerships, and content marketing. Proficiency in utilizing data-driven insights to inform and adjust revenue growth strategies, conducting experiments to optimize performance. Strong understanding of B2B market dynamics, particularly within the media and marketing/communications sectors, with experience aligning growth initiatives to customer needs and industry trends. Demonstrated ability to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that support market penetration and brand visibility. Proven experience supporting enterprise sales, with the ability to provide strategic insights, resources, and support for winning larger, complex deals. Experience in leading cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, and client delivery teams to execute cohesive growth strategies. Excellent track record in developing retention-focused strategies to increase client loyalty and lifetime value. Familiarity with the needs and challenges faced by media, marketing, and PR sectors is highly desirable.

Pay Range: 175000 - 205000
