LHH is hiring for a Contract Marketing and Public Relations Manager in Nashville, TN. This role is fully onsite and the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of in-house or agency marketing and communications experience with a focus in marketing and event management.


Position Overview:

The Marketing and Public Relations Manager will be responsible for supporting the marketing and communications team including handling all social media, website updates and vendor relations. This individual will play a key role in managing the day-to-day marketing efforts and ensuring the successful implementation of media relations, content creation, and internal/external communications strategies.


Key Responsibilities:


Vendor Management:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors providing proactive communications support and guidance.
  • Manage expectations and ensure that deliverables meet agreed-upon timelines and objectives.

Media and Public Relations:

  • Develop media lists and maintain relationships with journalists, reporters, and industry influencers.
  • Draft press releases, media advisories, and pitch materials.
  • Secure media coverage across a variety of platforms including traditional media, online publications, and social media.
  • Plan Community events and stay involved within the community

Marketing Material Management:

  • Make edits to the website using WordPress.
  • Assist in the creation of content for websites, newsletters, and social media channels.
  • Work within InDesign to make production edits

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop communication strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage, social media engagement, and overall communication campaign performance.


Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, public relations, or a similar field.


Core Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen


Requirements:

  • Ability to be in office 5 days a week
  • Background and Drug Screen Required
