job summary:
A Technical Writer is needed for a technology company that designs and manufactures connectors and sensors for several industries, such as automotive, industrial equipment, data communication systems, and more, in the Katy, TX area. The Technical Engineering Support Teams are responsible for managing and executing engineering projects, collaborating with customers, developing technical documentation, and specializing in areas such as quality control, process development, and environmental safety.

responsibilities:

• Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
  
  
• Assign tasks to team members to ensure effective resource use and project deadlines are met.
  
  
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and gather requirements.
  
  
• Identify resources, assess project risks, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  
• Create, develop, and write operational, instructional, maintenance, or test procedures for different media (paper, multimedia, or web).
  
  
• Ensure that procedures are written for both technical and non-technical users.
  
  
• Handle various technical fields such as quality control/assurance, chemical processes, electrical components, calibration, mold development, audiovisual work, and environmental health and safety.
