Reuters Video News is seeking an experienced and innovative news Cameraperson for a TEMPORARY assignment based in San Francisco. We anticipate the successful candidate being based within commutable distance to San Francisco, CA.
About the Role
As Cameraperson (Level 1 Journalist - Temp), you will:
- Cover varied news events in the U.S., including breaking news and feature stories with travel to the scene of events.
- Film news and feature stories using broadcast-quality video camera, DSLR, GoPro, and other camera equipment.
- Work autonomously when filming, whilst collaborating with colleagues within Reuters Text to cover stories such as climate change, technology, entertainment, and sports.
- Produce and edit content at speed and in some challenging weather conditions.
- Work some weekend shifts and at times, longer hours.
