Reports to: Director, Employee Experience & Events Salary: $80 - $85k + eligible for EOY bonus
About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Marketing and Events Manager to support the strategy, planning, and execution of both in-person and virtual events. This individual will be a key contributor to enhancing brand visibility, driving engagement, and creating exceptional event experiences for our audiences, which includes the Marketers That Matter community, 24 Seven Family of brands community, and internal employees of 24 Seven. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, a passion for seamless execution, and expertise in platforms such as HubSpot and Zoom.
Background: A successful Marketing and Events Manager will have a proven track record of successfully delivering best-in-class events including all aspects of planning and execution. They will be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects and events at one time. Experience with creative design and developing marketing materials such as event collateral, website landing pages, and emails is a plus. This individual has experience with HubSpot to manage event workflows, registration, event management and automation, communications, and contact/property/list management.
Responsibilities include: Events (75%) MTM Events: Ensure all tasks and activities associated with the Marketers That Matter (MTM) annual program (~21 events in 2025) are completed on-time and under budget. Event size ranges from 30-100 people in various locations and types of events. Tasks will include: Event speaker logistics; scheduling meetings, documentation in CRM Event landing page and content creation Set up and manage event campaigns within HubSpot Registration and customer journey Communications internally and externally on event Creation of collateral, stage set up/backdrop, swag Location selections for CMO dinners Logistics for both hybrid, virtual (Zoom), and in-person events Track and analyze event performance, attendee engagement, and ROI. Provide post-event reporting with actionable insights to optimize future events. Execute and create project plans and run of show for each MTM event Assist with speaker interviews, schedule and partner with video creation team for content 24 Seven Family of Brands Events: Ensure all tasks and activities associated with 24 Seven Family of Brands events are completed on time. Reporting to Director, Employee Experience & Events, you will assist with all internal employee events and candidate and client facing events, including conference sponsorships, brand offsites, corporate retreats, and internal all-company virtual events. Tasks will include: Organize and manage logistics for in-person events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. Source speakers and assist with logistics for internal events. Assist with planning and execution of annual President’s Club retreat. Track and analyze event performance, attendee engagement, and ROI. Manage process of scouting events/conferences sales team members should attend to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Provide post-event reporting with actionable insights to optimize future events. Set up and manage virtual internal events via Zoom. Travel to on-site events (~10 a year, majority based in the SF Bay Area) is required. Stay current on event management best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve our event offerings.
Marketing (25%) Working with the MTM Team and 24 Seven Marketing team, assist with MTM marketing and sales content and collateral. This includes communication for events, membership sales, membership engagement, and website. Partner with the marketing team to drive attendance through email marketing, social media, and other promotional channels. Coordinate with vendors as appropriate for website design, collateral, swag, and other needs. Support social media outreach utilizing LinkedIn and other tools as defined for business development efforts. Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead generation and post-event follow-up.
Skills Required: 4-6 years of event, marketing coordination and/or project management experience with a proven track record of working at a tactical level within a start-up and/or small company. Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects/events simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong experience writing and editing copy. Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation. Strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills and quick with new technologies. Expertise in Zoom webinars and meetings, including managing breakout rooms, Q&A, and technical troubleshooting. Expertise in HubSpot to setup and manage event workflows. Experience using WordPress and Canva. Familiarity with tools like Asana or other project management tools a plus.
