About the Role As an Entry Level Structural/Civil CAD Designer at ANS Geo, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering and design teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the built environment and eager to kickstart their career in structural and civil engineering. You will work on diverse projects, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities: CAD Design:

Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify engineering drawings, plans, and schematics under the guidance of senior engineers and designers.

Project Support:

Collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical support, assisting in the preparation of project documentation, and contributing to the successful execution of projects.

Drafting and Detailing:

Produce accurate and detailed drawings of structural and civil engineering components, including site plans, foundation layouts, and structural details.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that CAD designs meet industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements by thoroughly reviewing and revising drawings as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to facilitate project coordination and success.

Learning and Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging CAD technologies, seeking opportunities for professional development and growth.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design work. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Passion for civil and structural engineering and a desire to contribute to meaningful projects.
