The Ohio Credit Union League (OCUL) is the state trade association for Ohio's credit unions. Who you are:

Creative with a professional bias for writing and speaking. Demonstrated success collaborating with senior leaders and diverse teams. Project management experience and the ability to multi-task. Entrepreneurial minded and passionate about service. Innovative, adaptable, and resourceful.

What you will do:
  • Responsible for leading communications processes related to organizational priorities and
    achievements to key constituencies, including members, partners, policymakers and the media.
    Oversee digital communications strategy, including websites, communities, and social.
  • Implement processes that guide the marketing standards for all staff. Lead the
    development and implementation of sub-strategies around digital and print marketing.
  • Initiate contact with local, state, national and trade media. Serve as primary
    contact for media inquiries and monitor print and digital media channels. Prepare and distribute
    talking points, press releases, media kits, fact sheets, quotes, articles, op eds and letters to the
    editor.
What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in in a relevant field and/or substantial relevant experience.
  • At least 5 yearsof similar or related experience.
  • Proven ability to consult with various lines of business to determine requirements, stakeholders, and scope.
  • Experience coordinating efforts of various teams to present a coherent "one voice/one brand" message.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and make independent decisions critical to job success.
