The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels, with a focus on websites, Ecommerce, SEO/SEM, CRM, loyalty programs and other key digital strategies. This role will require a strong blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and analytical insights to optimize Deschutes' digital presence, enhance customer loyalty, and grow online sales and engagement. This position is on-site and based out of Bend, OR.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Oversee the brewery's website, ensuring it is user-friendly, updated with fresh and engaging content, and optimized for conversions.
  • Implement website enhancements, including new features, product pages, and landing pages.
  • Ensure the website is optimized for SEO, improving visibility in search results and enhancing user experience.
  • Manage the brewery's online store, optimizing the product catalog, pricing, and promotions to increase conversions.
  • Implement strategies to drive online sales, including special offers, limited edition releases, and exclusive products.
  • Analyze customer behavior and purchasing trends to refine product offerings and optimize the checkout experience.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility, website traffic, and search rankings.
  • Oversee paid search (SEM) campaigns to drive qualified traffic, leveraging data to optimize budget spend and ROI.
  • Analyze and report on performance of SEO and SEM efforts, making data-driven adjustments to continuously improve results.
  • Lead the development, execution, and optimization of CRM strategies.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to segment customer lists, personalize communications, and drive lifecycle marketing efforts.
  • Manage customer communications through email marketing, push notifications, and SMS marketing to engage customers at different touchpoints.
  • Work cross-functionally with the marketing team to integrate CRM initiatives into broader marketing strategies.
  • Oversee the development, launch, and ongoing management of the brewery's loyalty programs, ensuring it effectively drives repeat business and customer engagement.
  • Design and implement rewards structures that encourage continued purchases, social sharing, and brand advocacy.
  • Monitor and report on the success of the loyalty program, making recommendations for enhancements and new features.
  • Manage paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, social media, display networks, etc.) to drive brand awareness, traffic, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy and visuals that resonate with the target audience.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, etc.) to track, measure, and report on key digital marketing KPIs such as traffic, conversions, ROI, customer engagement, and retention.
  • Develop and present regular reports and insights to key stakeholders, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Work closely with the Brand, Creative, F&B, and Operations teams to ensure digital marketing strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
  • Stay informed on digital marketing trends and best practices to ensure Deschutes remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
  • Must follow and adhere to all Deschutes Brewery company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll need for this Position:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on CRM, Ecommerce, and SEO/SEM.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-channel digital campaigns and delivering measurable results.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the beverage, CPG, or retail industry.
  • Familiarity with loyalty programs (i.e. wine club)
  • Knowledge of paid social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and associated reporting tools.
