SUMMARY

The

Event Marketing Director

will be responsible for executing multi-channel strategic plans for ICBA signature events. They will work with the marketing and communications teams to create and implement campaigns that enhance brand awareness, educate and inspire our members, and generate leads and registrations for our major events throughout the year. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's presence in the marketplace.

This role will report to the SVP, Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute comprehensive event marketing strategies that leverage multiple channels, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, print marketing, and content marketing. Lead the creation of marketing collateral for events, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment. Oversee the management of the organization's digital presence related to events, including website updates and event-specific content. Distribute content through a variety of formats to drive brand awareness and lead generation. Drive brand awareness, lead generation and conversions through creative content distribution and targeted marketing initiatives. Manage and execute a portfolio of high-impact events, from planning through post-event analysis. Manage and responsibly promote event attendee testimonials as part of the event campaign strategies. Develop social media posts including working with creative designers and/or videographer to create posts and copywriting captions. Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and implement innovative ideas for engaging campaigns that elevate our event experiences. Create and oversee social media strategies to promote events, working closely with creative teams for content development. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors, ensuring our event marketing remains relevant and compelling. Analyze event performance metrics and lead generation results to derive actionable insights and optimize future strategies. Foster relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and vendors to enhance event success.

Responsibilities Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing preferred. Minimum of 4 years of related experience Experience in Digital Marketing, B2B or B2C industry, and/or banking/financial industry are preferred. Proficient technology skills including marketing automation platforms, principles of SEO and social media marketing. Proven experience in event marketing or related fields with a focus on strategy development and execution. Demonstrates mastery in developing persuasive narratives across multiple channels. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Proven track record of steering multiple campaigns from concept to completion while maintaining strong partnerships across departments. Demonstrates ability to tackle complex challenges and drives data-driven decision making that delivers measurable results. Familiarity with print marketing for events as well as various digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing. Proficiency in using marketing software and tools (Marketing Automation Platforms, CRMs, email marketing software, webinar platforms) and MS Office programs. Experience in data analysis preferred. This role may be subject to travel up to10%.

Compensation and Benefits

The target annual salary range for this role is currently $95,000 to $130,000 based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. Total compensation includes a comprehensive healthcare benefits package (medical, dental and vision), 401k plan company match contribution, and an annual performance bonus.
