We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to be based in Los Angeles, CA. This candidate will help AECOM deliver peer recognized design work while striving to incorporate our Environmental, Social, and Governance goals on each project. Job Summary/ Responsibilities: Senior Level Interior Designer will provide planning, design, and documentation for a variety of interior projects. This role will be responsible for leading project teams in the development of design drawings, finishes and materials palettes, furniture selection, contract documentation, and specification. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with team members and design directors in leading Interior Design projects from programming, test fits, schematic and design development, through construction documents and construction administration. Design and coordinate detailed design concepts. Assist with the design and technical coordination. Lead the design on projects ranging in size and complexity. Develop space plans, three dimensional concepts, visual presentations, materials palettes, and assistance with aspects of construction documentation. Collect the furniture data through user interview and develop furniture package as a final deliverable. Lead and direct the development of design presentations and present to clients and owners. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments. Direct and mentor junior staff, with responsibility for oversight. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree from an accredited university or related +6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications: Professional Licensure in your respective field (i.e. NCIDQ or NCARB). 10+ years of experience in corporate/commercial design with a strong understanding of workplace projects, standards, and practices. Strong design capabilities with experience in corporate/commercial design. Experience with Federal DoD projects. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Self-motivated, client focused, and detail oriented. Ability to work in a high-paced environment with ability to prioritize work on multiple simultaneous projects. Strong capabilities in 3D modeling and architectural visualization software (Revit Modeling, Enscape, VRay, 3DS Max, etc.). Strong FF&E experience, including selection of products and equipment, finishes and development of specifications. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere and across multiple offices. Strong time management skills. LEED or WELL certification. Additional Information Sponsorship is not available for this role. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00.
