Trade Marketing Managers bridge the gap between marketing and sales, driving product demand and sales in retail environments. Their ability to create effective retail marketing strategies drives product visibility and consumer interest. Trade Marketing Managers are critical in supporting sales teams and driving revenue growth. With a strategic approach, this role will optimize product presentation, promotions, and merchandising in retail channels, ultimately increasing product sales and market share. All while focused on enhancing brand visibility and positioning products for success in the highly competitive retail landscape. The Sr Manager of Trade Marketing will work as a part of the overall Trade Marketing team to deliver planned revenue, volume, and gross margin of key brands & customers. Responsibilities: Developing and executing the Trade Marketing Plan in line with sales and marketing objectives and managing the Trade Marketing budget. Improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellence in in-store planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with the annual marketing priorities. Leading and implementing channel-specific marketing strategies and plans for assigned retailers. Conceptualizing and executing trade promotions and rolling out impactful in-store campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales teams. Leading activation programs with partners to improve brand visibility. Visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected. Support and develop a Manager of Trade Marketing focused on the same key brands and customers. Essential Qualifications: B.A./B.S. required. Minimum of 5-8 years of proven delivery in CPG. Strong business acumen; proficient customer knowledge. Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Thrive in matrix environments and are adept at influencing and coordinating with different stakeholders. Experience utilizing Nielsen or IRI syndicated data with the ability to analyze and evaluate several sources of data to develop actionable insights. You are always thinking about how to help the teammates around you excel. Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Environmental Factors: Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed).
