Senior Content & Engagement Manager
to manage the face and voice of today’s largest brands. You will report to the Associate Director, Content & Engagement and work closely with members of the Creative team such as creative directors, copywriters, art directors, and strategists. The
Senior Content & Engagement Manager
will work across day-to-day content creation and publishing management. They are platform experts, experienced social storytellers, and big-picture thinkers who can grow brand communities, address individual needs from a customer service perspective, and consistently monitor and optimize executions to increase overall brand engagement and account growth. KEY FOCUS AREAS Editorial Content Development:
Experience in creating and managing social media content calendars for large global brands, as well as developing content plans in partnership with strategists on content briefs. Community Management:
Oversight of content posting and strategic community interactions, in addition to specific customer service inquiries and questions. Cross-Functional Partnership:
Collaborate with strategists to develop channel and content strategy for the overall brand and campaign strategy. Creative Writing:
Understand a brand’s voice and handle revisions and direction from your supervisor positively and efficiently. Publishing and Style Guides:
Manage content publishing and channel appearance across accounts and flag updates as needed. Team Communication:
Interact confidently with both internal teams and clients. Proactive Engagement:
Develop FAQ and pre-planned response documents to fit the needs of the account. Social Listening & Reporting:
Contribute qualitative insights to monthly and campaign-related content reports. Management:
May manage direct report(s), typically content editors and/or Social Media Managers. QUALIFICATIONS + KEY FOCUS AREAS 5-6+ years experience creating and managing social media content for large brands across multiple platforms. A creative background. Expert knowledge and experience across major social media platforms. Experience with social listening and publishing tools. Impeccable writing, public speaking, and overall communication skills. On top of the latest industry & platform trends. Experience in proactively identifying and executing opportunistic moments for real-time brand activation. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficient in Keynote, G-suite, and Airtable. Ability to prepare client-ready documents and liaise with clients. Ability to mentor and support social media managers. Flexibility working weekends, holidays, early mornings or evenings.
