Description

The Marketing Specialist assists with the coordination and implementation of marketing projects including data entry into our CRM system, as well as assisting with the preparation of proposals, presentations, resource materials and reports.

Requirements

  • Research and gather technical and nontechnical information for use in proposal development activities and incorporates information and themes into assigned proposal sections
  • Interview project managers and task leads, programmers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel to collect technical and engineering methodology information
  • Participates in proposal planning sessions with team members and key stakeholders
  • Write/edit interfacing with program managers on contract specifics
  • Work with graphic designer to create graphics to support proposal
  • Print, bind, and ship proposals for the Marketing Department
  • Perform quality checks and peer reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Work with project team on short list presentations to assure a creative presentation of key messages, both corporate and project-specific
  • Support initiatives to improve the company's business development process and procedures
  • Support the company's marketing process by contributing to the marketing database, uploading relevant components from proposal activity to AEC360
  • Uses internal tools to effectively manage projects from start to finish
  • Works cooperatively in a team environment and displays a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Lead assigned tradeshow efforts, including selecting booth placement, processing show paperwork, securing giveaways, scheduling hotel accommodations, and coordinating client events
  • Meet changing deadlines, manage multiple projects, and balance shifting priorities
  • Contribute to community engagement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of proposal writing and development, preferably in the A/E/C sector or similar professional services industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience in additional Adobe Creative Suite and photography skills desired but not essential

• Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and scanners

• Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
