About the Role:

Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: Is to post silicon validation manufactured through their lab and Writing the validation
• Key projects: Software Contractor who can help the team create and maintain software applications using C++ and Python. They will be working with our design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software applications that meet their clients needs and expectations.

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of Develop new features and components using C++ and Python
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and errors
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Follow best practices and coding standards
• Maintain appropriate and necessary documentation

• Disqualifiers: Candidates who only have written a python script, but the team are looking for someone with experience in working on large python applications (python development)

• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain;
• Python development experience (preferably applications rather than simple scripts)
• Powershell / Bash scripting knowledge
• Software debugging skills
• Experience with any type of automated tooling/testing

Other secondary nice-to-have skills:

• Hardware experience (knowledgeable with working on physical systems and hardware components like DIMMs, etc)
• Database design
• Web development
• Working with or in Post-Si Validation teams (just to be familiar with high-level concepts like product milestones, team responsibilities, etc)

Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines.

Top 4 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining large python applications
• Minimum 5+ years experience with Software debugging.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with Hardware software development.
• Minimum 5+ years experience with post silicon validation process and methodologies.

Salary Range: $124,000-$137,000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
