Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Work arrangement:
Onsite 100% W2 position; 12+ months with possible extension. Position description:
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will help integrate systems and day-to-day operational functionality with Salesforce. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will be assigned to help build journeys, create logic for file transfers, and integration with other systems. The developer may interact with multiple business units. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and possess a deep understanding of Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder and Reporting. Responsibilities:
Assists with developing the business requirements in Salesforce Builds functionality to allow new journeys to be created Develop and implement marketing campaigns with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Email Studio, Journey Builder and Mobile Studio Develop and manage email campaigns including responsive email templates. Experience using AMP script, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), SQL and HTML/CSS to create customize email templates, SMS messages and landing pages Create and manage data extensions and data filters to segment audiences and target campaign. Design and maintain workflows in Automation Studio to automate various processes including file transfers, data extractions, sending Emails and SMS. Develop and manage CloudPages to create landing pages, microsites and forms in Webstudio. Design, configure, automate journeys using Journey Builder. Create and manage automated SMS campaigns including Opt-in/Opt-out process. Manages day-to-day operational needs in Salesforce. Assists with data integration and platform builds. Builds and edits code in Salesforce. Tests new functionality. Creates and manages dashboards. Manages and creates custom applications and automate business processes via SFDC. Creates and manages workflow rules and use of Salesforce Lightning. Monitors and debugs deployment tools. Manages communication between different systems using web services. Support testing including Unit Testing, User acceptance testing, Regression and End to End testing. Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce Marketing cloud capabilities and provide guidance on maximizing systems potential. Develop and maintain email marketing campaigns that adhere to Protected Health Information (PHI) and CAN-SPAM regulation including managing unsubscribe mechanism and ensure accurate sender information. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in campaigns, journeys and automation workflows. Manage user access and permissions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will interact with staff, other team members, all levels of management and internal and external organizations. Other related duties as assigned. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Platform development (using Apex and Visualforce, understands Lighting components) Development lifecycle Data Integration Apex development SQL AMPscript Testing skills, including automation/regression testing People skills Strong background in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Superb written and oral communications skills Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis. Desired KSAs:
Experience working with SharePoint, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Platform development Experience working developing builds and logic in Salesforce Experience with integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems using REST and SOAP API's and setting up Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) Ability to create technical documentation for monitoring, changes, and enhancements in Salesforce Superb communications skills (written and oral) Effective listener Experience with Salesforce mobile application capabilities and basics of lightning framework Experience with object-oriented language such as Java and JavaScript Knowledge of SOQL and web services Knowledge and experience with CSS, HTML, and dashboards Experience in Medicaid or other healthcare claims system(s) IT projects preferred, but not mandatory Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification Public (government) sector experience Preferred KSAs:
