Description:
A Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing marketing campaigns to promote a product, service, or brand. They work closely with other members of the marketing team, as well as with sales, product development, and other departments to achieve marketing goals.
Responsibilities:
- Routing and reviewing content for approval
- Supporting multiple programs and executing pre-set marketing tactics
- Collaborating with external vendors for tasks like enrolment and staffing
- Assisting in sending messages and posting on social media
- Developing marketing strategies and plans to reach target audiences.
- Creating marketing materials, such as brochures, advertisements, and social media posts.
- Managing digital marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and online advertising.
- Conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Analyzing marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate marketing efforts.
- Planning and attending marketing events, such as trade shows and conferences.
- Monitoring and managing the marketing budget.
- Providing support to sales teams and other departments as needed.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in marketing.
Required Skills:
- MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Vendor management experience
- Writing capabilities required
- Understanding project management processes (e.g., Gantt charts)
Preferred Skills:
- Adobe knowledge
- Social media experience (optional; internal teams manage content)
- Adobe experience a plus
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree required
- Open to candidates from any industry background
