The Role: As the Community Manager, you'll lead our flagship Brooklyn location and play a pivotal role in shaping The Shop's future. This isn't just a management position-it's an opportunity to grow alongside a company that's expanding rapidly, with leadership pathways and opportunities to make a lasting impact. You will blend hospitality, operations, and sales, offering a unique opportunity to shape The Shop's presence in one of New York's most dynamic neighborhoods.
What you'll be doing: Build a welcoming and engaged member community. Drive sales and marketing initiatives to achieve 100% occupancy. Curate events and partnerships that strengthen The Shop's presence in Brooklyn. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring an exceptional member experience. Lead, train, and motivate your team to meet goals and deliver top-tier service. Collaborate with leadership to implement strategies that support our broader growth plan. Physical Demands:
This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time. Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. May involve moving or lifting items at or about 40 pounds. Work Hour Requirements:
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on company needs. The standard operating hours of The Shop Workspace are from 9 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, but require flexibility to cover periodic evening events which usually end no later than 8 pm. In addition, Community Manager must have flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts for event coverage. Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Compensation & Company Benefits:
