What We Need: We’re seeking an experienced Part-Time Traffic Anchor to keep our listeners informed of traffic and weather in the local area. This person will also enter traffic data into our Traffic Net platform.

What You'll Do:

• Provide timely and useful information to commuters.
• Announce the latest accidents and traffic delays.
• Read traffic and news reports.
• Gather information from various sources to determine significance.
• Identify and create data regarding traffic and weather for on-air shifts.
• Manage information and keep the website up to date.
• May require flexibility in work schedule.

What You'll Need:

• Strong experience in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns.
• Pleasant, charismatic voice; excellent pronunciation.
• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to plan, organize, and multi-task.
• Understanding of police scanners is a plus.
• Previous broadcast experience.
