AniMate -Animation Film Festival is currently seeking EOIs from aspiring digital marketing professionals with a passion for film, animation and cultural events promotions to join our dedicated team through the 2023 internship program.

About the organisation:

AniMate is a Sydney-based international animation festival showcasing short, animated films from over 97 countries around the world. The AniMate festival works to be a strong advocate and promoter for creative minds and hearts working in the medium of animated filmmaking both locally and abroad and holds annual screenings of inspiring, quality animated short films every festival season around Sydney city.

About the role:

As an AniMate digital marketing intern, you will be joining a dedicated team of animation and film lovers and volunteers working under the guidance of the festival director to help grow the public profile of the festival.

You will work in close collaboration with the director and team to help promote festival screenings and events across a number of platforms through marketing and promotion campaigns and online marketing strategies.

Skills and experience:

Ideally you will have:

- Strong understanding of SEO and analytics used to increase audience reach and participation.

- Experience running online marketing campaigns and promotions via social media platforms.

- Good level of skill and familiarity with Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.

- A love for animation, festivals and cultural events and a desire to help us grow the festival audience and fanbase.
