WXXV-TV, a Morris Multimedia station, has an immediate opening for the position of graphics artist.

The graphics artist will prepare broadcast graphics for news, client commercials and promotion, print and outdoor advertising, and web content. The successful candidate will provide art and graphic support for the production of news, commercials and programs, in addition to art and graphics for station sales, public affairs and promotion needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare broadcast graphics for various media.
  2. Provide art and graphic support for news and promotional content.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong computer skills and knowledge of all Adobe products.
  2. Proficiency in Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere.
  3. Experience with broadcast graphics systems, IT systems, and animation software is a plus.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to follow and execute detailed instructions and work well under the stress of multiple projects, while maintaining a good work ethic, energetic demeanor, flexibility, and the determination to learn.

Experience/Education: Two plus years graphic design and television experience preferred; degree in Graphic Design and/or TV production or similar field of study.
