Overview:

The Motion Graphic Artist will join our team of experienced marketing associates in managing and deploying media assets on a variety of platforms, as well as creating original media content. The position will work closely with the Vendor Relations Team, Creative Media Team, and external partners to ensure photo and video assets are properly formatted and scheduled on-time for a positive and unforgettable In-Store customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own the design and publishing process for In-Store Digital Signage
  • Intake, reformat, and resize photo and video assets from vendor partners and internal teams to fit specifications of digital displays
  • Upload, publish, or otherwise schedule the deployment or removal of assets for a variety of screen types and platforms both independently and in close communication with external partners
  • Communicate deployment progress with project manager
• Create compelling, original content for in-store displays and other placements as-needed (social media, digital ads, TV, etc.)
• Accept critical feedback on creative work and offer solutions to challenges
• Ensure the Scheels brand style guide is upheld in all motion graphics, videos and images.
• Consistently challenge yourself and your peers to elevate a project from good to great
• Effectively communicate and share creative expertise in animation, color theory, graphic design, layout, and typography
• Maintain proficiency and stay abreast of new features and techniques in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative software, with an emphasis in:
  • After Effects
  • Premiere Pro
  • Media Encoder
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
• Provide video editing and motion graphics assistance as-needed for the Creative Media Team
• Assist with all other aspects of Creative Media Production
• Confer with leadership to resolve problems or questions
• Actively participate in team meetings

Education & Experience:

• Ideal candidate will have an AAS or BA degree in graphic design with an emphasis on animation or film production or a related field
• 2-4 years motion graphic design/animation experience preferred, with strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects
