Job Description
Duration: One year + contract (Possible Extension)
• Experienced and capable audio visual contract support technician for the Research and Development (R&D) scientific areas.
• Provide application support for both Audio Visual and teleconference systems utilized by Zoetis Research and Development staff.
• This requires in-depth experience in Enterprise Audio/Video systems and the ability to provide support and resolution for these systems quickly.
• Also, provide support to all levels of customers including senior executives.
• Build strong relationships with users to track, understand and resolve their technical issues.
• Be willing to take ownership of user issues, monitor progress and keep users informed until resolution occurs.
• Understand Service Support activities (Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management).
Objectives:
• Provide Audio/Visual Support for Zoetis enterprise systems.
• Liaison between multiple Business Technology organizations to provide comprehensive support.
Qualifications
Skills:
• The ideal candidate should possess a working knowledge of AV systems, current AV technology, a solid understanding of teleconference systems and the aptitude to learn new and possibly complex systems as required.
• The candidate should have good problem diagnosis and repair skills coupled with solid exposure to database concepts, and knowledge of both client/server and web-based application architectures.
• Strong customer/communication skills along with three to five years industry working experience in application/technical support is essential.
• Candidate should demonstrate the ability to work closely with other global divisions to accomplish stated objectives.
• Also, the candidate should be able to work on their own, with minimal direct supervision, or as part of a team.
• They will need to be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and use available resources to solve issues quickly.
• AV Experience: CTS or CTS-D certification, DMC-E certification, experience with digital video switching and routing, experience with audio DSPs, ability to lift equipment up to 50lbs.
