Level Two Technicians at Bravas must possess at least two years experience installing and servicing audio visual and home automation equipment as a full-time job. Qualifications:

The Technician must possess an understanding of all systems including audio, video, security, lighting and integration of all installed brands. Must be able to read house plans and other job site related documentation. Basic wiring and connectivity skills as it pertains to low voltage standards. Troubleshooting skills are essential. Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in in-house job management software. Attention to detail, particularly regarding key component placement & system wiring.

Objective: To provide excellent quality of installation & customer experience while meeting industry standards and completing assigned projects on time and under budget.

Summary of Position: The Technician is responsible for installing and servicing products at customer’s job site. Organizing supplies, product and transportation of high value equipment to job site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Projector, flat panel, screen installation and calibration
2. The management of van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearance
3. Meet with project manager to ensure timeline and expectations.
4. Communicate effectively with and take direction from Lead Technicians and Project Manager
5. Review sales order, product list and scope of work prior to deploying equipment
6. Clarify final placement of key components with communication from PM or customer
7. Trim out speakers, CAT5/6, coax and camera placements
8. Installation of in-ceiling/in-wall speaker installation
9. Install/Setup home and light business network systems
10. Set up, pre-configure and program networks, control systems, cameras and NVRs
11. Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
12. Communicate with Project Manager on schedule and expected completion dates
13. Daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management software
14. Accurate time clock entries and job costing
15. Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials
16. On call rotation may be required
17. Local travel to job sites required
18. Fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within Technician’s care
19. Customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers
20. Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws

Additional Requirements:

1. Flexibility to meet customer demands outside of normal working hours
2. Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs
3. May require standing or stooping for extended periods
4. Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height
5. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and criminal background
6. Security license or experience preferred
