Texas Association of Broadcasters is hiring: Broadcast IT Manager in Denison

KTEN Media currently has an opening for a Broadcast IT Manager. This is a full-time position. This role will assist KTEN’s engineering staff in maintaining our managed network, workstations, and servers.

Duties will include:

• Installing network cabling and other network equipment like routers and switches
• Installing workstations and other equipment
• Installing desktop operating systems and programs
• Connecting all workstations to the network and relevant servers
• Providing staff with technical support and training
• Installing servers, server operating systems, and relevant server programs
• Monitoring and testing networks to ensure that they are running optimally
• Configuring routers and switches
• Monitoring servers to ensure that they are running optimally
• Monitoring server backups to ensure that these take place regularly and correctly
• Responding to client requests
• Monitoring workstation backups and antivirus updates
• Performing troubleshooting to isolate problems
• Ensuring security and privacy of networks and computer systems

Qualifications: Candidate should have good diagnostic and problem-solving skills, an understanding of diverse computer systems and networks, and a working knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
