Overview

We are hiring a Gifting Operator of Imaging Services who will report to the Production Supervisor in Greenwood, SC. The Gifting Operator will be responsible for efficiently working with materials in the production area, while effectively operating and maintaining equipment with limited assistance.

FNAC-ID Personalized Photo Products Group (PPPG) now makes more than 450 personalized items (such as coffee mugs, posters, framed prints, canvas wall décor and more). PPPG provides a turnkey, back-end service of producing these items for a variety of retail and online customers.

Responsibilities

• Ship orders to clients with 100% accuracy.
• Operates and maintains equipment with limited assistance. Prioritizes processing according to processing time used and volume.
• May troubleshoot equipment and quality issues.
• Ensures accuracy and consistency of quality output. Continually inspects jobs coming off all equipment for completeness, accuracy, and defects. Notifies team lead if tolerances reach upper or lower limit quality standards. Forwards complete work to appropriate departments for completion.
• Inspects and prepares products for shipping.
• Keeps all products organized and in the proper location. Dumps trash and recycles items in proper locations. Cleans and maintains products, machines, and/or work areas.
• Determines the materials and supplies needed for production before beginning production.
• Communicates effectively, efficiently, and appropriately with all employees.
• May provide employees with basic training as needed.
• Follows established Environmental/Health/Safety (EHS) guidelines as pertains to safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Completes all paperwork required according to procedures.
• Cross training into other areas of production may be needed based on business needs.

Required Skills/Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred.
• Minimum of 3 months’ work experience in production/manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented, team environment.
• The position requires a focus on quality and detail.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
