Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and coordinates the effective design, production and distribution of Sales Communication and promotional materials for Kawasaki’s dealer network. Creates and edits the actual PDF for publication via Adobe Acrobat XI Pro desk top publishing and InDesign.
- Support of bulletins on K-Dealer. Assures bulletins have been posted to K-Dealer on EDD/Messages portal under current ‘Weekly Meeting’ and under Sales, Marketing, Operations, Parts & Accessories bulletin portals. Ensures appropriate bulletins are posted to the current eBinder. Maintains Dealer Mailing Lotus Notes bulletin board.
- Coordinates publication of eBinders/Binders for new model year introduction and Order Period. Organization of all categories, approvals, and preparation for eBinder publishing.
- Coordinates the production and approval process for logos, binders, and other informational materials in support of the DM Meeting, Dealer Meeting and bi-monthly Order Periods.
- Creates monthly or as needed "Green Sheet", finance grid, and sales program summary; including hyper-linking of specific bulletins to the actual PDF document. Ensures hyperlinks are continuously updated as grids are edited for new and revised bulletins.
- Posting of ‘What’s New’ Announcements and linking of bulletins on Home Page of K‑Dealer. Includes editing, routing, and obtaining approvals for originator and related department managers.
- Primary liaison with IT for K-Dealer administration including: What’s new postings, Quick Links Posting, Claim eForms portal and Price Lists maintenance under Sales heading, and eBinder.
- Maintains logs for Bulletin/EDD publication by date and all Sales Communications K‑Dealer Actions including posting date, edit/republish dates, and justification/reason for the edit.
- Responsible for routing all pending bulletin communication for Corporate approval.
- Retail Bonus program administration. Bulletin notification to dealers of payoff dates for unit qualifications for the quarterly retail bonus periods. Provide customer service to dealers once payouts are received. Coordination and troubleshooting with Warranty and/or KMFC to resolve any customer service issues. Administers processing of quarterly payment to Active Dealer base as well as Cancelled Retail Bonus payouts.
- Oversees the updating of the ICHIBAN Performance Plus program for qualification; additionally, processes Program (trip) Standings quarterly.
- Maintenance and updates to the Dealer Assistance directory and District Manager National Map.
- Proofreading of bulletins for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and trademark application.
- Assists with writing sales-related articles for bulletin publication.
- Works closely with the Senior Manager is creating all Sales related bulletins for all Order Period introductions. E.g. Order Period product introduction, demo programs, sales incentive support program bulletins.
- Creates Price List and publishes as a PDF. Maintain and publish in eBinder, and K-Dealer Sales / Price List portal for dealer use. Maintenance of existing price lists dependent upon price changes, model changes, colors, etc.
- Coordinates the design of printed corporate communications such as bulletins, flyers, binders, etc. for all dealer communication mailings; coordinates the editing and approval process with Sales and Sales Program management; ensures efficient production and distribution of mailings to dealer network and sales force.
- Supervision of any Dealer Communications Assistant (temporary position) to assist with duties listed above.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from four-year college is preferred; and minimum two years related experience and/or training in a sales and marketing administrative environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel Requirements: Approximate percentage of travel required is 5%.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, you should have solid knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe/ Acrobat. InDesign experience is a plus.
