One of our Digital Manufacturing Systems companies is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to play a crucial role in developing and executing content strategies that enhance our brand presence, support our marketing initiatives, and engage our target audience. By collaborating closely with the cross-functional team, this role is responsible for creating compelling, technical, and high-quality content that aligns with our brand, engages our audience, and supports our marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, engaging, and compelling content for a variety of platforms including websites, blogs, press social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
- Optimize content for search engines using relevant keywords and best practices to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to the company website.
- Own the website content management and email marketing platforms, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Engage with the audience through social media channels, responding to comments and messages promptly.
- Conduct customer interviews to gather insights on their experience and satisfaction levels, and to collect use cases and case studies.
- Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure that all content aligns with the company’s branding and messaging guidelines, maintaining a consistent tone and style across all digital and printed materials.
- Contribute to the development of content strategies and plans, providing insights and recommendations based on content performance.
- Maintain and update the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all content assets.
- Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on content standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality outputs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of content creation and management experience, preferably in the B2B or manufacturing industry.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, and familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Experience with SEO best practices and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Ability to take direction and feedback, applying it to enhance content quality and effectiveness.
