Do you have an inextinguishable passion for writing and research? Blogs. SEO content. Email funnels. Regardless of the brand or assignment, does 1-1 marketing communication get your fingers raring for a keyboard? Full disclosure, we wrote these questions to turn off most writers, but a select few have eagerly sped read past this sentence to learn about the opportunity. Tattoo Projects is searching for a modern content writer with the enthusiasm of a deadline journalist. A writer that will research any topic, learn to write about it extemporaneously, optimize their language to “win the search”, then drive the conversation from search engine to email inbox to the purchase cart and the subscribe button.

THE JOB

  • Write excellently.
  • Write at least two 1000-word blogs and two email campaigns a day.
  • Average at least 3000 words per day at an expert level.
  • Quickly research and articulate the nuances of b2b and b2c companies.
  • Apply best practices for technical SEO, national authority SEO, local relevance SEO, and industry relevance SEO.
  • Edit. Proof read. Declare war on typos.
  • Coordinate backlinking strategy and partnerships.
  • Ability to write in multiple client voices, ranging from technical writing and APA style to conversational.
  • Win the Google Snippet.
  • Win the first page of related searches, and optimize pages and blogs until it does win.
  • Proactive teammate that plays well with account executives, data scientists, and social teams.
  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content, improve organic search ranking, and uncover new opportunities
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports, and recommend SEO strategies

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of marketing writing experience.
  • Master of Basic SEO (if you don't know what a keyword and optimized anchor text are this isn't the right position for you)
  • Google analytics familiarity, certification is a plus.
  • HubSpot familiarity, certification is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress.
  • Ability to create written content about a wide array of topics
  • The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Positive, optimist, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Have their own copy of Elements of Style before they consider applying.
