Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer to join our growing company.

Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pretreatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.

CAD Designer Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Engineering staff to create a design required to complete the project.
• Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
• Collaborates with the Engineering group to change plans if problems arise.
• Majority time spent on 3D modeling, assembling, and drawing with SolidWorks software.

CAD Designer Requirements and Qualifications:

• A degree is preferred, but not necessary with the right experience level.
• Minimal travel will be required depending on the project.
• Proficient drafting skills.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD would be a definite plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
