The Warehouse Inventory Assistant Manager keeps our warehouse back of the house running smoothly. This position requires fantastic problem-solving skills, attention to detail, positive communication, and strong computer skills. This position will help lead the day-to-day operations in the back of the house. The Assistant Warehouse Inventory Manager reports directly to the Warehouse Inventory Manager.

Team Growth/Leadership:

• Participate and support recruitment efforts to build a team of great talent that work within our culture of HEART
• Assist Warehouse Inventory Manager and IS Trainer to provide ongoing training and leadership for new and existing Inventory Specialists
• Be present to provide in-the-moment coaching and support to Inventory Specialists
• Foster a positive environment as an approachable leader
• Take over full leadership responsibilities when Manager is not present
• Partner with the Inventory Manager on schedules

Daily Responsibilities:

Inventory Processes:

• Implement and develop Inventory workflow procedures for receiving and tagging new product
• Check quantities of new merchandise upon receiving
• Inspect merchandise. Assess for size, color, and quality defects
• Receive Purchase Orders in Celerant
• Attach tags to new merchandise
• Process inter-store transfers to/from other stores
• Assist in inventory control and product replenishment
• Ensure proper storage and organization of product within the warehouse, optimizing space and maintaining a clean and orderly environment

Return Authorizations:

• Oversee weekly Return Authorizations from the Home Office
• Package and ship RA’s as instructed

Project U-Haul:

• Pull items to be transferred and transfer in Celerant to each U-Haul Store
• Pack up transfers, and create UPS labels to the receiving stores
• Ship out Project U-Haul as soon as complete

Donations:

• Twice a year, donation lists will be posted on Store IQ
• Pull and pack all items to be donated and transfer out of Celerant
• Call for donation pick up to authorized Evereve donation recipient

Miscellaneous:

• Hours 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Willingness to work nights and/or weekends as needed
• Work closely with other department Managers to order weekly supplies as needed for warehouse
• Regularly monitor Store IQ for Home Office communication
• Maintain Inventory Specialist files on a current and organized basis
• Complete other projects as needed or assigned
• Must be able to lift 20-40 pounds
• Must be able to climb ladder as needed
• Able to walk, stand, sit, bend and use hands for extended periods

Requirements

• 2+ years of Inventory experience, preferably at Evereve
• A warm and friendly demeanor, a natural connector who knows how to make work fun
• A growth mindset to persevere through challenges and push for solutions
• Open to growth and development, highly coachable
• Adaptable to change
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to positively influence others
• Embodies the Evereve brand and serves as a brand advocate for our mission
• Previous leadership experience preferred
