Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing original graphics and prints for private label projects. The ideal candidate will have experience creating production-ready artwork and be passionate about the design process from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create original screen-printed graphics, all-over repeat patterns, and prints for children’s apparel.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Graphic Artists and the Graphic Art Team to research and identify trends in graphic and print design.
- Contribute innovative and compelling ideas that elevate the overall design direction.
- Foster a positive team environment and manage up when necessary to ensure project alignment.
- Produce user-friendly, production-ready repeat patterns, prints, and graphics.
- Understand the limitations of different fabrications and printing techniques, as well as character licensing color constraints, when developing graphics.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Education:
- 4-7 years of experience in graphic design, with significant relevant experience in apparel design preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or a related field is a plus.
- Strong understanding of screen printing, repeat patterns, and color theory.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Competitive salary of $50,000 - $75,000 + benefits package.
